Hello 2022!

We hope you all were able to enjoy the holiday season with some rest and rejuvenation. Here’s a quick update on what’s been happening at our clinic.

As we said goodbye to 2021 we also said goodbye to one of our long-term employees and one that you all know well, our Office Manager Cate. Cate and Dr. Lingard have worked together since 2015 and it is with a heavy heart that we said farewell. We are, however, very excited for her next adventure as she returns to school. Best of luck Cate!

Kim Moodie will be joining us in a full-time role and will be your go-to for booking appointments. We are excited to have her with us everyday. Welcome to your new role Kim!

In other recent news, Maggie McFarlane, our registered massage therapist had an unbelievably unlucky moment in early December when her left retina detached. She was rushed into emergency surgery. Here are some quick FAQs: Yes, this is her second detached retina. Yes, it’s very odd and rare for her to have detached retinas given that she is very young and healthy (the doctors say it’s because of her oddly shaped eyes). Yes, she had to take some time off but is back with reduced hours to build her strength back. Yes, the surgery went well. Yes, she’s still our happy-go-lucky Maggie and is keen to be back working with all of you!

Thank you for being part of our Thrive community. We look forward to seeing all of you in 2022!
