March 22: COVID-19 Update
Hello Thrive Community,
As our world is quickly changing we are doing our best to respond. As of Monday, March 23 in accordance with our governing body, Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors, and Alberta Health Services we are officially open for emergency care only. We continue to have heightened procedures in place to ensure appropriate social distancing for our patients and our staff, as well as additional sanitary measures.
We realize that this could change in the near-future and we will do our best to update you as changes occur. We appreciate your ongoing support during these uncertain times. As many of you know, we are a close community here at Thrive, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you are in need.
What does emergency care mean?
Emergency care is defined as: if you are experiencing acute pain (if you are in pain) or sub-acute pain (if you stop treatment your condition will worsen). If this is you, please reach out to us and we will make sure to see you.
Please note: the symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, dry cough or other cold or influenza-like symptoms. Use this online screening tool to determine whether you need to call 811 to get tested.
We continue to ask that you NOT come to the clinic if:
You have traveled outside Canada in the last 2 weeks
You have a fever, cough and/or difficulty breathing
You have had close contact with a person with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19 or
You have had close contact with a person with acute respiratory illness
